during my daily routine of yahoo(.com) browsing this morning, I came across a funny article: “why do men hate these popular trends women love?” (read here)
according to the article, men hate & women love the following:
1. ugg boots
2. oversized sunglasses
3. jumpsuits

5. harem pants
6. socks with sandals

welp, i think my runnin’ shoes have just about had it. i can almost feel every rock i step on and i think there’s a little mustard stain on the laces (don’t judge!) soo i’m tradin in my old asics for something better.. here’s what i’m considering:

withdrawal
i did it. i gave up candy for lent. o.myyy gosh it just started yesterday & already i’m having withdrawal symptoms! & by candy, i mean anything gummy..not chocolatey things.. hot tamales may or may not be my biggest weakness. i often substitute gummies for real meals. obviously not a healthy decision, but it just tastes better. it’s a wonder that i don’t have 864 cavities...

i haven’t read a good book in a while and need to get my hands on a good one. anyone have suggestions?! i read water for elephants a while back and ab-so-lutely loved it. and they’re making the movie! can’t wait for that one to come out! :) anyway, i saw elin hilderbrand came out with a new book the island, and think i might just have to run over & pick it up!

if you didn’t already know.. i want to be a hippie. i would love to be decked out in all things freepeople and have bracelets on my arms and headbands/(flowers) across my forehead and gorgeous long hair.. would be so sweet. anyway, found these dudes on etsy, via orange&yellow. i’d like to have about 3-4 (on each wrist) :)
